Audiovisual Performance (Live): Shadow of the Wall
In a storytelling and live drawing performance in the historic area of Al-Khalifa, Shadow of the Wall weaves together layers of legend, history, and the pulse of the streets in the heart of Cairo. In Chirine El Ansary’s words, the stories of amazing women of Khalifa, present, and past will make you see the neighborhood with different eyes. The Tag-tool visuals by Agnes Michalczyk entwine with the narratives to add color to the magical setting and give the feeling that the walls are telling their own tale.
This event is hosted by Megawra and sponsored by the Austrian Cultural Forum in Cairo and the Austrian Ministry of Culture.
