Cairo’s Architectural heritage wealth is priceless containing The Tulunids, The Fatimid, The Ayyubid, Mamluk and Ottoman as well as modern, most of which can be visited yet some the monuments needs conservation to preserve it and here lies the question; is conservation the only solution available to preserve these monuments?
We do believe that creatively reusing Cairo’s monuments in accordance with community needs while maintaining its artistic and historical value will reinforce its continuity.
