Are you ready to spend Ramadan night in the heart of Historic Cairo? Join us for our upcoming veneer wood workshop and a suhoor gathering at al-khalifa community centre. During the workshop, we will explore the history of veneer wood craftsmanship and the different types of veneer, how it's extracted, and how it's used to manufacture wooden boards such as plywood. Each participant will get the chance to design and execute their own wooden coaster, concluding our night with eating a traditional Egyptian suhoor together. The workshop will be conducted in Arabic.
