A View from Above: Guided Tour & Live Sketching Workshop
04 Aug, 2025

What’s the first image that comes to mind when you picture the heart of historic Cairo? Is it the architecture? people in the streets? markets and their vibrant noise? Or something else entirely?

We invite you to see the city from a whole new angle in our upcoming tour and bird’s-eye drawing workshop led by artist Mohamed Wahba. As we move between rooftops and viewpoints, we’ll pause at several stops to take in sweeping views of the old city and explore how elevation and different perspectives transform our sense of place.

Bring along your favourite sketching tools—or simply your phone or camera. No drawing experience is needed—whether you’re sketching for the first time or just capturing scenes that move you, you’re welcome to join us for this experience.

Tour Date: Saturday, 28th June 2025, from 9 AM till 1 PM

Tour Guide: Aya Hany Workshop Instructor: Muhammad Wahba. The tour will be conducted in Arabic.
