Bureau LADA (Landscape, Architecture, Design, Art) is studio for experimental architecture based in Amsterdam.

The lecture focuses on the act of seeing, observing, and engaging actors in a particular project. The lecture presents this through several projects ranging from performative installations, exhibition designs, mapping, several building projects and a few spatial strategies. Concept plays an important element in creating the design narrative. Design / architecture we see as a wide field, encompassing nature, culture, city and land. Established in 2010 by Croatian Dutch architect and urbanist Lada Hršak, Bureau LADA introduces poetry, wit and wisdom in it’s projects, research and performances. The practice acts in the fields of architecture, artistic research and cultural ecology. Exploring relationships between nature and culture, arts and science, looking for models of co-operation between different territories. Following her training at Faculty of Architecture at University of Zagreb, Lada Hršak completed the postgraduate program at The Berlage Institute in Amsterdam. Parallel to her design work, she holds several teaching engagements (Academy of Architecture Amsterdam, Royal Academy of the Arts The Hague KBAK, Delft University of Technology, Academy of Architecture Rotterdam, Faculty of Architecture Auckland University) and is member of Advisory Committee for the Dutch Creative Industries Fund.
